Lewes Castle ward

Lewes town is divided into three subsections - wards.

Priory, briefly, includes DeMontford, Southover, Houndean and Neville). Priory has 3 District Councillors; the independent Ruth O'Keeffe is one and is standing again in these elections.

Bridge, briefly, includes Cliffe, Mountfield Road, Malling and everything north of the Phoenix Causeway and east of the river. Bridge has two District Councillors; John Stockwell is standing there as an independent.

Castle is our ward, where I'm standing as an independent. It extends from Landport in the north west to the river in the east and to the High Street in the south. So it includes:

• Landport
• The Pells
• North Street and the Phoenix industrial estate (and therefore the whole of the proposed Phoenix development)
• The Avenue
• Half of Prince Edwards Road and all the streets to the north of that
• The castle and Brack Mound and the streets around
