The web isn't perfect for democracy - it isn't accessible to everyone. But when it comes to discussing issues of the day, it's a great deal better than anything we had before.

A major aim of this website is to enable me to engage with voters and to encourage voters to engage with me. On this site you have a free reign (within the bounds of common decency etc.) to ask me any questions and to leave comments on what you read here. I will attempt to answer questions in a timely manner, and will leave questions, answers and comments on the site for other voters to read.

This is something I'd like to continue if I'm elected to the District Council. It's experimental I know, but I think it can play a hugely important part in keeping elected servants in touch with their electorate and thereby improving decomocracy.
